Art Mondays Presents... "Juba Spider"

Artist Jenny Zhang, CInque Hicks (critic for Creative Loafing/artist) and Felicia Feaster (critic for Modern Luxury) talk about Zhang's new hand-made prints "Men Are Like Fascinating Insects, "Juba -Spider." Audience strongly encouraged to join the discussion about how being gay challenges being black, about masculinity and about women making art about men. Find out how Zhang, who is Asian and heterosexual, can make respectful work about men and the gay community.

Doors at 7pm
Artist Talk at 8:30pm (7/13/09 only)
Admission $4 general, $5photographers

Evening will include open turn-tables and community figure drawing session at 7:30pm. Bring your own supplies!
